These are a few pages of characters I designed for Hasbro earlier in the year. The objective for me was to develop a look for 5 characters based off a pitch packet and character descriptions for a pilot they where working on. In the creative brief, they kept mentioning "ownability". They wanted a vinyl toy design style amongst others hoping to tap into that market. Hasbro wanted to keep the characters very cute but not My Little Pony cute. Any way this was a great project for me. Enjoy!

Writing with pictures

At what point does passion become obsession? What happens when you finally get what you always wanted and realize that it's not what you thought it would be like. This turns out to be the theme of this character I'm exploring.

Toss it up!!!

Here's a sleepy dog design for my wife's tote bags. This took about 40 minutes from start to finish. The challenge was to create several dogs using only 2 colors in this case blue and black. She made me one of her famous quesadillas in exchange!!!! ( I feel bloated)
