Mike Hailwood

Hailwood is perhaps best known for his accomplishments at the renowned Isle of Man TT. By 1967, he had won 12 times on the infamous island mountain course including three straight wins during the 1961 event, losing the fourth when his 350 AJS broke down with a broken gudgeon pin whilst leading. He won what many historians consider to be the most dramatic Isle of Man race of all time, the 1967 Senior TT against his great rival, Giacomo Agostini. In that race he set a lap record of 108.77 mph on the infamous Honda 500-4, that stood for the next 8 years.

Great illustration, I love the style of your drawing here.

Holy crap, I watched the video and I found myself hanging onto my office chair. That's one hell of a ride!

Thanks man! Yeah and to think that if you crash, your most likely gonna fly off the side off a really really steep hill, into a house, a stone wall, tree.. Lots of great men lost their lives on the Isle of Man.

While I was on You Tube watching the video you linked, I ended up procrastinating and watching a number of clips from this race, including several crashes...ouch!

All I can say is that these dudes are either brave as hell, or as dumb as a head of lettuce.
