Feeling kinda rusty lately, I decided to take a trip up to Central Park and draw the tennis players. Oh man I made a mess but I had a lot of fun doing these.
I tell you, you totally inspire me robert. your sketches are beautiful little gems. I'm going to break out my windsor newtons and vow to do some sketches. (hopefully I'll actually do some, and not just vow)... great work, as always.
Your sketches have so much life to them, and to say that I am jealous of your talent would be a gross understatement!
My favorite sketch is the man bouncing the tennis ball on the ground. With a few well crafted lines (and using squash and stretch) you were able to show motion. So little can show so much.

...oh, and I love the addition of watercolor.
Thanks lads. Yeah I think if you can say it all in a few lines, that's the best way.
Agreed.
Good kinda 'mess' :)
OK - Now how did I know that? And Now a blog to share... Much, much love, Rose Marie
Your APOGEE Poet! awaiting...
You are a lucky man: You can repeat and come back when you want it. Visiting Central Park is a pleasure and I´d like to draw some sketches there too.
Love these!
Thanks for visiting everyone!
