Early motorcycles where made with small engines grafted onto bicycle frames. Duh! In the first decade of the the 19th century manufactures like Harley Davidson, and Indian, where building true motorcycles using a frame specifically made to house an engine. By 1912 Indian produced a twin cylinder eight valve engine that went 90 mph on 2 1/2 inch tires! Indian ruled in america. It was not until 1914 that Harley Davidson entered the Board Track Racing scene with it's own custom made racers. Board track racers have no gears, and no brakes. Just an open throttle and a kill switch to control speed. Unlike today, these bikes where not sold to the general public. Thank God. Many of the these board track racers where bump started by other vehicles pulling them with a rope or by peddling by the rider. Manufactures new that wins on the track meant a boost in sales not to mention the prize money. These men where courageous heros of the sport. Many of them lost there lives along with many spectators. You can see a great clip of these men in action from the early days of motorcycle racing at

Keep your jackets on while watching this film because your bound to feel sub zero chills from actor Javier Bardem who plays a subdued psychopathic killer with a bad hair cut. It's brilliant story telling shot for shot in every way. Funny this is probably going to be the best film of 2007 and It was the first film I saw in 2008. "No Country for Old Men" is based off the writings of American Novelist Cormac McCarth. This is the first literary adapted movie by Joel and Ethan Coen. Go see it!
